Redemption Round

Keilor Team Members and Juniors Golfers are passionate about golf, but their pride and ferocious defending of their chosen AFL teams, take priority on and off the fairways. To settle a few scores between AFL Clubs, we took to the course for the ultimate Redemption Round.
A mild and cloudy Wednesday afternoon greeted the players:
Jack McDonald, Centre Manager - Richmond
Alex Colcheedas, Pro Shop Team Member - Richmond
Chase, Junior Golfer - Hawthorn
Sahara & Mikaylah (Team Saylah) - Essendon
Marlon (benched due to injury) - Essendon

The battle lines were drawn - no longer were they friends - but RIVALS!
Over nine holes, each player endured hardened challenges from blind drives and putts, swapping out golf balls for Easter eggs, putting on one leg, spins and drives, heckling and of course the one club choice! Through the laughter (and the tears), there could only be one winner... and that alas, was Alex for Richmond!
Benched player Marlon, is determined to take revenge with a Revenge Round taking place during the July School Holidays.
